Totally agree Louis.  Paint schemes.  And I would ask for pics of the 'non-color' scooter, but I realize they just don't photograph true to their beauty, do they?   spyder

Well, they really do look differently in almost every picture. It is a "color" best be seen in person. What intrigues me, is that from aprox 10 feet away it looks almost always like the bike is painted all black. The flames and the slate portion only "appear" in certain light conditions, or when you get up close. Contrary to many others who discuss this bike in another thread, I believe the Moco did well in leaving some chrome accents. If at any time there was no discussion about taste possible, than in this case. Either you like it (and I do), or you don't. And that's fair enough.

But I did not mean to hijack this thread.

Maybe you wouldn't but the MoCo does (as seen on the spec sheet here). :nixweiss:

I don't believe there is such a thing as a colour chart for the CVO's and they never let the dealers know prior to the dealer meetings in July... My dealer is nice enough to always call me from the show floor to explain the colour options to me.

Usually though it's just a confirmation of what has just been released on the MoCo's website.

The dealers get to see the colours "in the flesh" at the show just as we see them on the website...  Having said that, there has been the odd time when someone goofed at HO and we got to see them a few hours earlier than they saw them at the show!

We'll just have to wait till July.


Grizz   you are correct...I wish the MOCO website could do a better job of depiciting the true colors when they announce

The dealer show has been moved to Vegas because of flooding. July 27 - 29.

Agree they need to do a much better job of showing the colors on the web or brochures. If I would not have seen the color of my bike in person I would not have wanted a the Atlantic Ocean Teal they were passing off as "Riptide Blue". I got the color brochure of the Crimson black and the bike does not look like that in person. I am glad I saw it in the American Iron spread before I put a deposit on one. Personal choice I know, but these custom colors deceive the buyer when the graphics don`t match the true bike.

Also it is going to be interesting moving the CVO line outside of the custom shop into the regular softail production line. Will there be a difference in the product going forward?

How about a 2011 CVO Roadglide? How about a midyear "wet" Trike CVO?  Was told this morning the Trike was put off until midyear because they are having trouble with the radiator.

I know how these things go, but the that told me this says he saw pictures of the RG.

For whaterver it is worth.  Which is probably not much.

No, Congac, I did not see the pictures.  I did not put this out as gospel, just adding to the fun of speculation.  Although I believe the guy saw something that a connected with HD showed him.  He has no reason to make something up.
