Continuing the theme started at the Winter meeting the summer meeting will (do significantly little applause and less fanfare) introduce the "49."  It will also fill a niche that wasn't perceived by anyone else and the tank will be shaped like a walnut.

I'm going to hang it out there and say that MoCo will have to have more machines with water cooled engines to meet the combined EPA standards...Willie be damned.  Unless some back room deal by the WH is hatched to specifically exempt them.

And why is that even a factor? How many of our exhausts will it take to equal one Volcano explosion?

My dealer knows how much a like green and just emailed me to mention one of the new colours for 2011...

Black & Apple Green... I can just imagine what that''' look like! 

Just the regular colour charts for now.  No clue what the CVO's colours will be???

  The  part about water cooling I just don't understand is the "SOUND".
People, the sound Will NOT CHANGE! Of coarse if you want the rattle
of the engine, that MAY be a problem, but then again EVERYONE changes
the exhaust anyway!!!!!!!!!!  Just think, cool engine, MEGA power.

I was in for serfice today and looked at the new colors and didn't find any that I would buy. Allot of my favorite colors are gone!! Not even a good blue to pick from.


What  are the new softail models offered for this year? I was told the softail custom is out for 2011.

Just stop and think how many Heritage Softail Classic's are out there. It's hard to believe there has never been a Screamin Eagle Heritage.  That kind of combination would be a real Meat Ax for HD.  Probably would be the biggest seller HD has ever had.  Just my 2cents.

I'm sure you'll get an argument from all the Heritage owners out there with that comment.  I know, I know everyone has the right to their own opinion, but that's almost sacreligious!

Good point.  I mean no disrespect to the Heritage owners.  The FLSTN is one of the MoCo's best ever, again, in my opinion.  And no disrespect to the convertible owners, but it just is not one of my favorite bikes for 2010.
