Here's a better shot:
AJ the way I read that though is they've just added the black engine and gloss black covers to the "Kryptonite" bike and it's not an option on the other colors/models. :nixweiss:

I was told you could order any motor with your bike.......

I was told you could order any motor with your bike.......

I think Harley worded things poorly to lead your thoughts in that direction, but it certainly isn't what they are offering.

Are you telling me that you cannot order a standard Ultra with either a 96", 103" or a 110" motor?

That is precisely what I am saying.

You can get a standard Ultra with a 96", an Ultra Limited with a 103", and a SEUC with a 110", just like before.  I haven't seen anything to indicate anything different.  If you look at the specifications for the standard Ultra, the Powerpak option (103") is N/A and I guess they didn't even think that there was a need to mention the 110" as an option, since it isn't.

The Road Glide Custom and Street Glide have a 96" standard and have the 103" as an available option.  The Road King Classic and Road Glide Ultra have a 103" as the only option.  Both trike models have just the 103" available.  Anyway, you need to look at the each bike individually to see what is and isn't available this year.  I didn't really look much at anything but the touring lineup.

I did not notice any bikes other than the CVO's available with the 110" as a factory option.

You may be right, but that is in direct conflict of what I was told.
With the new "line" a bike could be ordered with the power train of your chosing.

I will have to investigate that further

I don't know who told you that, but it's not sounding accurate to me.  Obviously, I could be completely wrong, but I just don't think I am in this case.  I'll be curious to hear what you find out.  I guess the easy way would be to try to order a standard Ultra with a 110" at the dealer, but I'm guessing they'll be aiming you toward a 96" and the upgrade kit to get you there.

I did not mis understand what the dealer told me, but maybe they did not speak exactly......

What they told me is that you could order the power train you want in the bike you wanted.

That is not the same as buying an Ultra with 3 different power trains, standard, limited or CVO. the only difference from last year is adding the 103 to the ultra line.

That could be what lead to the confusion

I will find out..........

But they haven't done that, have they?  The way I read it, the Ultra (not the Limited, not the CVO) is still a 96".  The Limited has the 103, but it had that last year too.

You are correct. However, Keats may be talking about the Road Glide Ultra.

Sorry if I missed this in an earlier post, but while into the dealership on Saturday looking at the new Ultra Road Glide 96", I had that discussion with my salesman.

On non Limited or CVO touring bikes, you can order the Power Pak option that sells for $1,995.00 and that includes a 103" motor, ABS and the remote sercurity system.

This 103" is NOT a CVO motor, but the stock 103" that is used in the Limited, the Trike and the Police bikes.

I'm not sure if the Power Pak option is worth the $2k or not, but that's what you get for the $$$$'s.

and the Power Pak option is not available on all models...only the few that I listed.  They tell you in the specs for each bike if the option is available and if it is, the price is $1995.
