I know that some of you guys that have done engine work are going to toss out some pretty heavy numbers here. Other than pipes, tuner, and air cleaner, I haven't really done any kind of performance work on my 09 SEUC. I just received my insurance bill tonight and thought I had better check to see if I have more than the $3000 in accessories included in my policy. I just tallied up what I've added on thus far and I wasn't prepared to see what I have spent. $8065.38. That doesn't include the items I've purchased and then sold at a loss at a later date for items I wasn't happy with. That doesn't include the 2 rear tires I've already gone through or any other maintenance or cleaning supplies, etc. It doesn't include the extra windshield I have. This is just for what's on the bike now. That's what I would be out if someone stole my bike right now. That doesn't include other gear, etc. that are in the bags and T-pak. Holy crap! I thought that I was taking it pretty easy on the upgrades with this bike. Even worse, just while I was typing this, I thought of about another $270 worth that I didn't find receipts for. I'm calling my insurance company tomorrow to add some more accessory coverage. I'm going to have to walk around the bike and see if there is anything else that I am missing receipts for and haven't thought of yet. Dang...I just thought of something else...but it was only about $15.
On top of that, I still have other purchases planned and was thinking about cracking open the motor one of these days and beefing up the performance too. So, these are the Screamin' Eagles that have everything direct from the factory, and you don't have to add anything to them...at least that's what people keep saying!
