:help: :help: Does anyone have any experience with these pipes??  I am contemplating installing them on my wife's Softail Convertible but since they're relatively new on the market I have not seen them on a bike.  I hear good things about them including a stepped header design from 1 3/4" - 2" - 2 1/4" but am concerned whether the the crossover design between the front and rear cylinder just behind the timing cover may create a concentrated source of heat at the right leg.

I have the Rinehart True Duals on my 08 SERK and know they work great.

Any feedback will be very helpful before I shell out $800 for the pipes alone.

thanks,
Dan

First of all the pipes look great, sound great, and best of all make great power.  However, you will definately notice a little temperature difference on your right leg.  I've tried all the others and from a performance standpoint I think I'll just tolerate a little extra heat on the trousers.  Take Care Hot Rod.

Thanks Hot Rod.  Great looking bike!!  Looking at your exhausts, it appears the front cylinder header actually routes a little higher than the Rinhehart website shows (the website shows the Cross-backs on a Softail CVO.)  Does the front cyliner header tuck close to the engine or does one have to be careful not to touch the pipe with the leg??)

Thanks for the feedback.  Rineharts are hard to beat performance-wise.  I hope the new Rinehart manufacturer, Clearline, takes them to the next level.  Production runs are projected for end of May, so I've got a few weeks to decide.
