Yep it's 01:30 now and just about time to hit the sack
We didn't stay too long in the pub tonight but there was a good reason
You gotta love this
I was at the bar "gettin' them in" when I noticed the landlady tying up her dog behind the bar.
"What's up" I asked, "There's a new dog just come in with those guys" she says "and I don't want Tyson (pub dog's name) to get involved"
"Ah - OK" says I, but just then the people who brought the new dog in pipe up and deny it's their dog (just to complicate matters it's a boxer - the new dog, not Tyson - well Tyson the dog is a collie but the other Tyson... well he wasn't in the pub - probably in jail)
Anyoldway the new dog (boxer) gets shooed out the pub and quiet reigns for a few minutes.
Then the door opens and a coupla kids who were passing say "your dog's outside" and shove the boxer in the door.
Landlady kicks him out again after he started to get amorous to one of the guys and began humpin' his leg - don't you love dogs?
5 minutes more of serious chattin' and drinkin' and another couple (friends of mine) come in with the bloody dog again...
Well by this time we are all up for givin' them a bit of grief along the lines of "what do you think you're doin' - bringing a dog like that into a pub like this" etc etc
The dog starts sniffing round slaverin' and lookin' for a likely leg again - the thing is, it's a big bloody dog - know what I mean - and I'm thinkin' if it takes a fancy to my leg I'm gonna have to be his bitch for the night
So we legged it smartish - well, our curry was ready to collect anyway
Might still be there now... humpin' and slaverin'
Oh, I forgot to tell you the name of the pub
The Greyhound - no really - it's true
