Looking good  :2vrolijk_21: How do they sound? To compare are they as loud as Rhinehart's? And do they have the deep tone which is what i'm looking for. I don't care if they are loud, the louder the better, I'm running V&H True Dual Bigshots and they idle at 109db, compared to stock Harley mufflers which they idle at 80db, I'm just looking for that DEEP rumble.

Can't compare them to Rhineharts, but if you want a deep rumble, these are the pipes for you.

Pipes are approx. 4" and expand to  4.5" about mid way. Baffle is removable and I was told by a Vance & Hines rep. that there is a quieter baffle available.  He gave me the PN but I don't seem to have it any more. They have a nice sound and I personally would not want them any quieter.

no hijack intended, but i spoke to Rinehart last week and they told me that they are coming out with a new 4" muffler in mid june.  This new pipe will marry with their True Duals.  I am waiting until then to make a decision on the VH's or the Rineharts.

t-rider, Thanks for the info, Thats what i have been looking for, The large dia. pipe like came on the bike. The only thing that concerns me now are they loud enough for me, But think i will roll the dice and order a set of them, Head pipes and all.  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Can you still hear the radio without turning it way up. Do you get a loud rumble while riding down the road?

What header pipe are you using with the V&H Hi Output Slipons?

I am running a stock 09 non cat. head pipe. Not that loud at normal cruise. Just slightly louder, and much more throatier  than the Fullsac 2" baffles I was running up till now.

The look great.  What are you doing for tuning and did you make any tuning changes for these?  Can you tell any difference in performance between these and the fullsac 2"?

Had SERT installed when I installed the non cat. headers and 2" Fullsacs with the canned settings for that set up.
Have made no additional changes at this time and it is running great. No real noticeable difference in performance. (sounds better) May have it dynoed at some point to tweek it and see where I am at.
