Rear cylinder cut off system
« on: May 17, 2010, 07:59:37 AM »

Can someone tell me how to check to see if my heat management rear cylinder cut off is on or off on my 2008 FLHTCUSE3?

Thanks

Turn ignition on, do not start engine.  Make sure run/stop switch is in "run" position.
Roll throttle forward past closed position and hold while observing cruise control light in the gauges.
Red light = OFF, Green light= ON
If what you see is what you want, release throttle and turn off ignition.  If what you see is not what you want, release throttle then roll forward again and hold until the light changes to what you want, release throttle and shut off ignition.

I believe the kill switch needs to be in the "run'" position.
