Enough to cover PART of my expenses for our trip next month!

Don't forget the old road trip rule to help with the rest of it, "103 buys dinner!".

Looks great.  Looks like you used the speaker pods from the OEM leather tour pak on the King--was it difficult to hook-up the wiring and mount the pods?

No, I used speaker pods from a king TP.  Wiring was no problem, same connectors.  The only problem I had was the passenger headset connector.  The king speaker pods use a din plug/harness that mounts on the bottom of the pod with a small bracket.  Couldn't find a used one and Harley wanted $384 for a new plug/harness.  So I drilled a hole in the pod and used the connector out of the leather TP pod.  Worked fine.

Wow!  Nice solution and thanks for the information.  The pods fit so well to your King tour pak I'm glad to know they're the King tour pak units and not the different ones used on the CVO leather tour pak--I just sold a CVO Ultra tour pak and was beginning to regret not keeping the pods and using them on the King tour pak w/o pods that I have.

The price you quoted for the headset harness from HD is startling.  You posted a WTB and I replied with the p/n for the passenger headset connector/harness from the BAMI kit I installed.  Sorry that didn't work for you.

Again, very nicely done.
