Sugarbear if you want to solve your problems then do what Capo has done. I did it also and sometimes I think I can even see better in the daylight. It's a plug and play conversion thru Xenonlink.com . It will run you about 100.00. No cutting or splicing. Do not get the so called brightest one stick with the 6k or maybe the 8k but no higher. I use the 6k and everyone that I know uses the same. You will not believe the difference in your night time riding. Best 100.00 I ever spent. Took more time taking the outer fairing off than the actual install. They do make them now for your high and low beams. Once you use it you will not want the high beam. Also I'm told by the company that they should have a plug and play for the stock Harley passing lamps coming out soon if not already.

Well bro mine are! I went with the HID kit from Xeonlink in August of 2008 preparing for a road trip to Northern CA. The first leg of the trip was Friday night with a stop in Vancouver WA out in the woods-you know that pitch black darkness? My pal, Vinny was leading since he had been there before and at a stop sign he signals me up to yell at me because "my effin airplane landing lights are blinding me!" Knock on wood zero issues since and total mileage just passed 10K last week with these HID lights on for over 7K since August, 2008. JMHO

Ride Safe!

Sugarbear I got the kit from Jim h-d dude he shipped it and talked the dealer wrench through he install.

I had my dealer hard wire my passing lamps to my headlight so I have passing lamps on both low & high beam.

Just got back from first night ride. Has anyone done anything to improve lighting? Don't think my eyes are that bad :P
Before you spent a bunch of cash, did you check headlight alignment? I added the HD auxillary kit to mine, but it wasn't so I could see better at night. It was so cages could see me better in the daylight. I just flat-out don't trust anyone in a car... ever. Them bastards don't see you when you're in your truck half the time...
