How many have purchased the extended warranty, tire and wheel and microdot. Im picking up my new cvo concord tommorrow and I cant decide if I want to purchase all the extras. thanks

I got the extended service plan and the wheel/tire warranty...what is the microdot?  Is that something new?  Ask your dealer if they'll give you 20% off the warranty, if not, call Jenni and Tri-Cities HD and she'll cut you the ESP with wheel/tire for 20% off MSRP.

I have just the Wheel and Tire warranty on the King but decided to go with the 5 year on the SG. I believe you have to have at least 3/32 tire depth to be covered on a road hazzard claim.

I have a 08 SEUC3 and after 2 years went with the Harley extended for an additional 5 yrs for the same price as if I had purchased it when the bike was new. Did not take the wheel and tire supplement. I did it mainly for the 110 cu. in. engine. It seems to have several issues on the forums but I have not had any with mine. I did have the recall done that is for the BPR and new gasket/seals for the heads. My only issue is with the hesitation from the throttle by wire. RMHD said they took care of that but I still notice it. And for the throttle blippers out there I find  that if you do blip the throttle before you take off from a stop light it seems not to want to stall. The warranty was almost $1400 so in the next 5 years I figure I will get some use out of it. JMHO.

I never have bought an extended warranty for ANYTHING, until now.  My 08 CUSE went in for starting problems (grinding) and kickout....now it's waiting for new starter, compensator, clutch basket, and...get this...kick stand!  Almost $1000 in parts alone.  So, with one month left on warranty, I purchased 3 more years extended.  Call it no confidence that the bike will be reliable.  This is the 3rd warranty trip: one for a minor oil leak at the oil filter cooler adapter; one for the rear cylinder auto compression release; and now the starter, et al.  Been in the shop now 2 weeks....sigh....not too good for a $35k motorcycle now, is it?
Actually, I believe the failed compression release damaged the starter and related parts so I give that a single failure, but then there is the oil leak, and one for the jiffy (kick) stand.  Too many in 30,000 miles.

I didn't think you could get just the wheel/tire warranty.   :nixweiss:

I also got the extended with Jenni at Tri-county, OH.  I have went through 4 sets of heated hand-grips, 2 sets after the extended kicked in.  I lost count on how many other warranty repairs I've had done, so I wouldn't go without the ESP on a Harley product.

Just wanted to pop-in and add a  :2vrolijk_21: for Jenny @ Tri-County.  I read through this thread and several others on this forum about extended warranty to see which dealerships were recommended then made several phone calls for price comparisons.  Tri-County beat them all pretty handily regardless of the number of years or whether or not it included tire & wheel.

If you're shopping, make sure to give Jenny a call.  I think you'll be glad you did.

I noticed a leak today and ran the bike over to my dealer to find out it's a inner primary leaking and would cost approx. $600.00 bill. I just purchased a extended warrant three weeks ago schwoooo...
