If we don’t have it you don’t need it!

There were a number of “other opportunities” to have that we did not get the photographs…”school girl” type prostitution , live stage shows of things you have only heard of and so much more.  Very Sad

There is so much to say regarding my visit to Tijuana but after riding, drinking eating, shopping, getting my pharmaceuticals and more it was time to return given what I knew would be a long re-entry given the long lines I viewed at the boarder upon entry.

So we headed back …remember the ambassador of Beverly Hills?  Meet the one for Tijuana.

Now in the event you did not get enough shopping performed you can always take advantage of the last minute shopping available during you long wait in the boarder line.  The selection of products is amazing and there is no better way to say to that loved one that “you cared about them” and took your time in selecting that fine gift!

In addition since you will have quite the wait to enter into the USA at this boarder you can dine in your automobile should you wish.  There are many available options one of which I am sure will please your plait!  Not sure about the other port of entry?  HA!

One of my last experiences here would take place right here and you can not see the folks involved since we were not about to take their photograph.

In the far right at a V point were two local police and we were being approached by many vendors, beggars, and other folk.  Most of them would only speak Spanish and one of them in English after 2 minutes of Spanish.  He spoke it better than most people I know.

It appeared that they were attempting to sell us information about how to move up in the boarder line but I was uncertain.  At one point the English speaking one said you should go speak to them and for a price they may help you. Mmmmm…everything is for sale isn’t it?

Right after that a young guy on a sport bike, the only one we saw beeped his horn and quickly rode by in another outside lane.  He waived his hand and I thought should I go?  I would have to switch four lanes of non-moving traffic and go between a tight cement wall.  It was time to go for it and I did not knowing where I would end up and totally uncertain about the decision I had made.  Turned out to be a winner and got me to here pretty quick.

Once here I still had a small wait but I could now see the boarder crossing and the many people wanting and waiting to cross it.

Once here I saw a couple of other bikes going through and immediately going to the front by lane splitting but at this point I had traveled without event and didn’t need one in my last minutes here.  So I stood in line like everyone else and enjoyed my final views of Tijuana.

I am next….Once we arrived to the USA Boarder crossing it was quite different from the young man waving me into Mexico.  I was greeted by a trained professional that took his responsibility quite seriously and I appreciated that fact.  We were questioned for a few minutes and he conducted the background check via our passports.  We exchanged a couple of comments regarding our visit to the area.

He concluded the conversation with this comment.  “We really appreciate when motorcyclists do not cut the line to get in front and I noticed you did not do that.  “Welcome back!”

Now notice the guy on the yellow bike that cut straight to the front.  I had already been checked through and we went before me in another line.  He was still being checked out when I parked the motorsickle to place the passports in the tour pack.

His bike was being given the fine tooth comb along with his belongings.  Now I am not saying that was because of his behavior.  Who knows?  But I could help but wonder…Would that have happened to me too by that guard if I cut in?  I will never know but appreciated the experience to better understand the Boarder Crossing and Patrol there.

Only a final note regarding Mexico and Tijuana I what to make certain that my comments are made in jest and I do not want anyone to be offended by them.  My cheesy commentary is made in an attempt to highlight just how well we have it v. others no matter the country.  It was sad in so many ways to see this in action but it certainly places matters into perspective if you do not have one.  The reality of it is I can take you to some similar places in my hometown so it exist in the USA too.

I look forward to another visit to Mexico and the next time it will be another location not that I do not want to return to this one.  Remember as Toby Keith would say “What happens down in Mexico, Stays in Mexico!”

 ;) ;) ;)   :D :D :D
