Always interesting the differering perspectives on shocks, etc. I recently had the Monotubes installed and have zero problems with them. No bottoming out and relatively no diving. On the other hand I was just talking to Erniezap who has the Ricors in his '05 and complains that they dive way too much and he can't stand them. Both were installed professionally by Jim (hd-dood) and we have similar riding styles so go figure.

Looking at doing this comparison myself with my two SERKs.

I still don't feel like something is right with my Ricor rear shocks. I'm going to do some more adjusting, testing and talking with Brian.  :nixweiss:

Thanks!! I put 10 ounces in there.I'm not getting any jolts from the handle bar. The brake dive is also reduce and satisfied with it. Guess I have to go back in there and see if something is loose. Maybe check the steering head bearing.

I'm not trying to start anything here but want to clarify that Erniezap actually has race tech emulators and not Ricor INTIMINATORS in his bike.  You had me concerned when I read your post and I contacted Erniezap to see what was going on.

Thanks,

Brian

My mistake, sorry about that. Glad that you caught it. I guess I need to read a little more carefully!

I've had the Intiminators for some miles now. They work as advertised! Good investment.

Still messing with the rear shocks. I feel the proper setting is in there somewhere! Just need some time to really work on adjusting them.

I love the Ricor INTIMINATORS, really made a world of difference in the front end.

Do the Intiminators have to be serviced or exchanged ?

No, just install and ride, change the fork oil at normal intervals.

I have now had the Ricor intiminators now a while and just love the improvement they have made for my front end.

I was looking for a reason not to spend $1500 for traxxion front end.

I have Arnott Aldan air shocks in the rear which had some advantage over stock shocks, but they are now the weakest link.

I did not notice the rear issues until the Ricor's were installed.

The (intiminators) stopped "dive" issues and "whoops" in the turns tracked much better.

I have never run traxxion, but the Ricor's work very well for me.

My issues with the Arnott's is a different topic.
