Hi all, ordered a couple of goodies from your part of the world to get started. Couple of questions;

Anyone seen installation guide / instructions for 4" CycleShack slip ons?? also the BAFFLES, I thought they were removable? There is a bolt near tip holding internals through the outer, have removed bolt and even tapped inards with bit of wood/mallet but does'nt seem to wanna give. Any ideas/experience??

Also ordered the MoFlow, any tips for fitting? Obviously plenty of Loctite is a good idea. Should get around 12hp and 6lbs from this huh??

Jeez you don't get alot of feedback on this site, limited numbers I guess.

Better stick with Vtwin forum, hey have you been to hdforums.com.au? It's aussie site, VERY good. I'm "Superglide" on there.

Um... yeh oh the 4", yeah mate fitted them yesterday (public holliday is what you need for those chores!). VERY HAPPY my friend, for a slip on they have quite a deep note and not too much crackle. (previous I had S&S Slips and they were a bit sharp mate) nice and loud. Still good back pressure. I was surprised how much baffle in there as I though 4" would be a bit of a wind tunnel, but no, very good all round, chrome work is good.

It is an easy no brainer job, you will need a couple of sockets, a good flat head screwie, and a sheila that does'nt mind sitting on the bike with the brakes on so you can wrestle the old pipes off.

Where? are i got these from M&M (google M&M cycles) I use them all the time, the cycle shack 4" were $266.00.
Mark is the bloke there, he is fantastic.

Oh yeah sorry....

  • They come with NO instructions in the box.

    And NO I did not end up removing the baffles, you can but they are machine pressed so good luck!

    Lindsey Marks from Cycle Shack said not a nice noise once removed and try with them in, took his advice, he was dead right.

Looks Great!!!
Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Are you happy with the sound? How does it run out?
I would be interested in seeing your dyno chart after your tune.
