Sorry CVOwner,

I have to agree with Big B and Jim,

the tubing around the plate looks like they took some cheap tubing and bent it around.

I thought he (CVOwner) had a 2004? Looking at his avatar, and the lowers they are two-tone, '05's were solid color because of vent in lowers.

I do have the 04 FD. I just like the looks of the lower bracket like on the 05's, when I have my tour pack off. Which is allot. I'm always tinkering. And I call it Jap Crap, but I dont say crap. I say sheeeeittttttttt.

Ok, I understand now. I have a friend that has a [smiley=pumpkin.gif] and he changed his to the '05's, but he just used the H-D parts. Had you thought about doing that? He also added the luggage rack too.

Me and Beags are putting all the 05 stuff we got from HDJAMSTX on an 01 RK . Taillight and license plate combo, luggage rack, billet spotlamp brkts and bullet turn signals. Takin a bunch of stuff from hd_dude and retro fitting it to a 99 UC Backing some 03 SERK parts onto an 00 RK. There's pieces of my crashed 03 SERK "Flo" on 6 diffferent rides belonging to friends. It's musical parts here in Dago and everyone's ride is lookin fine. Nothing goes to waste, we beg, borrow or barter for what we need and give away or sell cheap whatever's left. Thanks to all on this site who have sold us stuff for great prices. We got some happy folks down/out/over here in Dago. The biker spirit lives large on this site.  8-)

Lets swap then. I'll throw in some cash.

I might have to take you up on that.  I'm so swamped with work (4 business') and kid's stuff (basketball, cub scouts).  Keep reminding me and I'll try to disassemble my luggage rack license plate bracket soon.

This is the license plate bracket that I bought last year for my 04 SEEG.  I liked it more than the H-D version for three reasons.  One is that Wisconsin has gone to smaller license plate sizes and the chrome backing plate was sticking out about 1/4 around the license plate.  The second was I didn't like the red Harley-Davidson reflector built into it.  Lastly was the HD version sits up higher on the rear fender than this one.  Not to mention it is cheaper.  It just a piece of stainless sheet metal that is cut and bent so the plate lays at an angle.  It doesn't come with any harware so you will have to go to your local hardware store for all the fancy chrome fasteners.
