I ran the 12" Wild 1 Chubbies on my 03' glide and loved them, I will probably go back to them on the new glide, there is a picture posted up here somewhere, I don't have it on this computer to repost it though.

Scuba Steve, looking good  :2vrolijk_21:.  I'm curious, what mirrors did you go with?  Any pix?  I have the 10" Yaffes and later installed a stock height Clearview (CV) w/tint & recurve (I'm 6'2") and found that the mirrors hit the CV at full lock.  I've "monkeyed" with them (pun intended) by moving the bars back 1/2" and adjusting the handlebar controls and pivoted the mirror stalks slightly and now have everything pretty well worked out, but if the stock mirrors, which are swept back would sit up a little straighter, I could probably take my 1/2" on the bars back.  Cheers,  Silvr

I am 6'3" tall with a 32" inseam, so like a gorilla, I'm all torso with short legs. I am not comfortable with anything taller than 12" rise so I consider anything above that "Monkey Bars" and as already stated, I'm a big monkey  :D  Personally I feel the best bars for a Road Glide have a 10" rise - - - lots of different Mfgs to choose from but that's the height I find to be the most comfortable for long distance riding and still have solid control over the bike in the twisties.

That's about as close to perfect as it comes Crusty.

The only change I'd make to your bike would be to add an 8" Klockwerks windscreen
