SuperShooter,

Since you already know what the 10 seat looks like,  I have added a pic of the FLHTCUSE3 Stock Seat.  As you can see it has more lower back support.  You feel like you are sitting down in the bike rather than sitting on top of it, which is what you feel like with the 09 and 10 seats.  I bought mine from Chicago Harley and got the 20% off.  Seat was still 800.00 but man do I like it.

You need to take a good look at the seat bottom where it mounts. They are reverse of each other.

Bluegoose,
You may want to keep your backrest if it works, the seat on my 08 works well after having it slightly modified, but the B.R. is not very comfortable.

Hi

I just bought an 08 seat from ebay without backrest for my 2010. Hasn't arrived yet. What were the modifications that  you did to it?

Thanks

DennisG,
I had seat trimmed down on sides, scraped out seat area to lower a little, and insert gelpads.
It is lower, legs are closer to bike, and gel pads work very well for comfort/heat distribution.
Be carefull to not park in hot sun, and if you do put something over your seat, sun will warm up the gel pads.

A friend of mine has the 2008 Cuse with the stock seat. The stitching came apart and we were surprised to see a gel pad already installed, stock. Did you add more gel on top of the gel or did yours not have any?

Mofo,
Since I could not remember, I called my guy at the trim shop, and her confirmed that their was nothing but between the heating element and the gel pad.
It does a wonderful job on warming up the seat.
