Great pictures....I gotta go out west one of these days....just a quick question....how do you know the grizzly was snozzin and not dead....

When we were at the mud volcanoes just up the road, folks there were telling us to be sure and check out the grizzly that had just sauntered down out of the hills.  There was quite a crowd pulled off checking the ol' boy out!  Rangers were directing traffic and keeping a close eye on things by the time we pulled up.  He lifted his head and looked around a couple of times while we were there and one guy let us look through his high-powered lens that he had set up on a tripod.  He was very much alive, just chillin' by the creek bed!!  Pretty awesome sight!

LOL!  Even checked the box that told it to avoid unpaved roads ..... and it still wanted me going down 5 or 6 more after that!  But, hell, after that ride through Rocky Mountain National Park, why not!?
