As the guy that runs the dyno, CVO 103 will whoop a CVO 110 everytime. The more recent 103's are for sure not hte same motor. But if you pull up on a 04 or 05 cvo 103 stock on your 110 stock and want to bet some money I will be happy to take it. Just had a '10 110 on the rack that other take that eck'd out a sorry 69hp and 89 ft
Here's the dyno on my stock 110 with stock exhaust (with catalytic converter) before getting the engine upgraded..... 77/100 straight "out of the box". I'd be interested in seeing any "bone stock" 103 with
stock exhaust putting out more. The reason the earlier 103s performed better in stock mode is simply because they were mapped
from the factory for richer fuel flow since the EPA standards were lower. In order to make the certification emission standards now they've simply leaned out the fuel supply. Take a current 103 and enrichen the fuel and you'll get similar performance (assuming non-cat exhaust) to the earlier 103s. Same goes for a current 110. If you enrichen the fuel flow to what the engine likes vs what the government likes you'll have more performance and a happier motor.
If you have a "happy" 103 and a "happy" 110, the 110 will dust the 103 every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
