American Iron Magazine Build
« on: July 08, 2010, 06:42:16 AM »

American Iron Magazine was here all day yesterday shooting the 98"/Wood 9B/HPI 51mm t/body/our Stage III heads/Supertrapp build.
They said it takes waaaaaay longer than just a normal build, and they were right. LOL.
All in all, it was very smooth.
They will be back this morning to take pics of the Dorherty Power Pacc install, as well as the Supertrapp bolt up.
Heat cycles, test rides will follow, then back to www.joescyclerepair.com, for the "after" dyno.
They have alerted us to the article being released mid-winter. :)

What's the objectives of the build?

To show what that combination produces.
They are also going to do a 6,000 mile overview of it.

It is supposed to be in a back/back 2-issue article.
Heard from the tuner, and it is rolling 122hp and 112 ft/lbs SAE. 102*, 29.31 baro, MASSIVE humidity. STD was 124/114. Carry's 100 ft/lbs from 3100 to 6200.
Guess it ain't gonna' run much worse that it is right now........... ;D ;D ;D

It is going to be in 2 back/back issues.
We have been told that "sometime between January, and April", is as close as they could narrow it down. :)
