From my research, I found that a recommended windshield height is one that is level with your nose.  So really the inseam and height isn't as important as torso length and what seat you have.  The 08 seat sets me higher than the 09 and beyond seat.  Another good point to remember is that if you leave the protective film on and the windshield isn't damaged you can return it.  All you will be out is shipping.  All in all a good deal for me and I am pleased.

I saw a picture of this winshield on this on this site and it looked interesting. It is an aircraft company.

Still running OEM 9" shield, any wind problems seems to be coming up between fairing and gas tank not above or sides of stock shield.

Whatever you do, forget about getting those windshields from Ebay that are in the $29 to $30 something range.  I bought one last summer and for starters, you can just feel how much thinner the shield is.  The real problem is when you try to clean them.  I tried to clean the bugs off, with Plexus, just like I have always done, and they just scratch up in all directions.  I kept it on for an entire week before I put the original back on.  It's hard to believe that a windshield with only a few hundred miles could look worse than one with over 20,000 miles at the time and still looks better at 30,000 miles.  Don't buy them.  They are junk.
