Droid X mount ????

I guss I'm a gadget freak  :bananarock:, I just got the Droid X and think it has all I need! Phone,Mp3,GPS, Not to mention I can watch a movie if I wanted to  :nervous:, Does anybody know if they make a mount for this phone that will go on the bike?? I have the ram mount for my GPS but I cant find anything that will fit the phone. Thanks for your help!

Thanks but I wish it was that easy, But I need it for the Droid X not the Droid , I need something thats going to be secure.

The Droid X has only been out a (+/-) week you are probably not going to find one that will say it specifically fits that phone this soon... however you will probably find something that will be a "universal" fit that will work or you can take the dimensions of the Droid X and find one that fits those.

I use a Tech Mount, same one in this picture. I have since moved it over to the left side of the bar. The slot you see I did to hold my iPod case. But it also was in the right spot for my Droid case.

I have the first Droid and I am using the Verizon sold snap on case. The case works great, is relatively slim and holds the Droid secure, face in or face out.

One thing about those tech Mounts is that they are chromed. Without something mounted it can be blinding in the sun. I used an orbital sander and gave it a nice non reflective swirl finish.



The audio mini plug sucks on the droid though. Comes out the top and has less then an ideal fit. Sometimes I have to wiggle the cable around to get both channels.
