How much do you plan to lower it?  If you stick with one inch front and rear, the result will be very similar to bikes like the SEEG that came from the factory that way.  No major problems other than the obvious; your ground clearance will be less and therefore you will drag stuff more often, and the lowered suspension will not be as comfortable as the standard suspension (unless you spend vast amounts for custom solutions).  I wouldn't recommend lowering it more than one inch.

I was thinking about using the harley lowering shocks front and rear lowers about 3/4 of a inch. So I wouldn't be on my toes.

I changed the seat to an 2010 ultra seat, it lowered me to be able to put my feet on the ground and gave me clearance in the turns.

 Good luck

Is that seat heated? not that it really matters, and how much was that.

 Just IMHO... I would NOT lower my bike. Because I had a 99RKC that had been lowered and I HATED that it was lowered. Honestly it hit everything!!! Had to go a lot slower than normal could not lean at all. Lost count of the number of times knocked jiffy stand spring off. Started carrying spare spring. One time knocked off oil cooler line on speed hump. But if you feel you must lower your bike I would not go more than an inch. Just sayin... Good luck!
