Can anyone help, I do not have a clue what is going on
« on: August 03, 2010, 06:51:26 PM »

My buddies 2007 Ultra just died going down the road and would not start.

plenty of fuel, has spark, turns over, no ignition.....

55 lbs fuel pressure, pumps fires up.

spray 2+ 2 in throttle body and it runs.

starving for fuel?

ECM not firing injectors?

if crank sensor is bad would you still have spark?

took off tank and removed fuel module..... (dumb idea, since there was fuel pressure)

too many cooks in the kitchen and cannot find the smoking gun.

put back together and it fired right up......

anyone have a clue?

I hate when it magically comes back working and no reason.

hard to trust it now...........

All I can add is when mine had all that "surgery,"  I now have an electrical Gremlin!  (insert evil clown emoticon here) Which doesn't make sense.  I know it is rearing it's ugly head when the fuel pump doesn't prime to start.  So far, it has only been a temporary problem.    Something wet and shorted out?  Sorry-can't help you on that one.
