Anyone have enough miles on a SESG2 to say whether the seat is good or bad?  Thinking of putting one on my 2010 after a 2500 mile ride to Sturgis has left me less than pleased with mine.

I have just over 1k on my new FLTRUSE. On my old FLTR I had a tallboy seat installed. I would say that for short distance this seat has been excellent. My longest run so far has been around 225 miles with the wife on the back. It was a hot day and we we both uncomfortable just a bit at the end of the ride. However, I don't know that it was the seats fault. I think it was more about the heat and the extra weight on the bike. I won't have anything more conclusive until I do an extended solo run. I'll keep you updated. My next long run will be Labor Day week.

So far I have 1500 miles on my FLHXSE2 with one trip about 300 miles.  I am loving the seat.  I ordered the backrest and need to put that on but other than that, I have no isues with the comfort.  
P.S.  I have only had the bike two weeks.

i agree......most comfy cycle seat i have personally ever had!  love the custom looks too.  i'm not getting backrest anytime soon for fear i'd fall asleep...

Part # of new seat 54181-11.  Was so impressed with the style, comfort & lack of tank gap issue during test ride @ Sturgis, I just ordered one to replace the peice of crap on my 2009.  Thought of getting a Corbin, but MoCo hit a homer with this one.  Dealer said I'll have it before the weekend.  Can't wait!

List of $384.99.  With a discount, I got out the door for $365.89 after paying Uncle Sam.  Much better than the $479+ I was going to drop on the Corbin Gambler.  IMHO - the MoCo seat looks & feels better than the Corbin.  Still pissed about the 2009 seat, but happy I found the 2011 MoCo seat before buying the Corbin!

Great report on the 2011 seat! The backrest will be awsome for all who are buying one for the first time!

Good news here, the dealer is trying to do a warranty exchange for the 2011 seat in place of my defective 2010. I haven't ordered a backrest yet so that will match if they are successful. I guess I'll need to replace the 2010 passenger backrest but she said it's to low anyway......Hope they can get it done!
