96" engine rattle question
« on: August 24, 2010, 11:07:09 AM »

Hi guys,

I have a question my 09 classic now has about 6500 miles on it and this summer while on a trip south in the heat I stop at a stop sign and then pulled away and noticed a rattle at about 2500-3000 as i was accelerating moderately. I thought maybe cuz of the heat I would burn some premium but no change.

bub mufflers high flow air cleaner  and PCV and auto tune is all for mods.

Otherwise runs great no noise if i throttle up slow or when cool. Any ideas. I want to talk to dealer but I want to be prepared.

shouldn't be loud enough that you are thinking about it..  not good to ride it if that could be the problem.
