Grandson's Harley Rocker
« on: August 24, 2010, 03:14:46 PM »

Thought I would share a pic of the Harley Rocker that I built my grandson.  All oak, except for the valve stems and rocker push rods.  These were cut from a piece of 100 yr. old cherry.  Gave it to him for Christmas one year.  Now it's just collecting dust.  But one day he can give it to his son hopefully.
Anyway it was a blast making it.  Just ran across the pic and thought I would share a Harley made of wood.

Took about 1 month working on it 3 hours or so a night, and most Saturdays and Sundays.  But Christmas Day when it was given to him, it was so worth it.  Actually brought a tear to my eye. Gotta love them Grands and Harley's.
