103thunder has one in his garage that I want too!
looks like there is a line for that one. Jeff how ya likin the new glide ? They are much nicer to ride that the pre08.
Hey Rick!
Here's some random first impressions of the new scoot.
For the first time I've bought Harley I felt the handlebars were exactly where I wanted them to be. I sat in the saddle and my hands fell on to the grips prefectly. I had already assumed this was an item I would have to mod. After 100 miles on her today, I do not think this will be necessary. They feel prefect.
The shorty windshield was another item I knew I would have to replace with a clear, slightly taller. I am rethinking this at this moment. Not buffeting problems at all.
The seat feels like a custom job. Althought this was only 100 miles, the seat seems to fit the bill. I'll have to have Cheryl give the rear pad a try before I go anywhere with this area.
The rear shocks on the SESG2 are great. I did not adjust them and they worked damn good. Could this be yet another area I will get to safe money? I do feel higher up on this scooter. Not a great thing with a 29" inseam.
The front forks are in need of help, Progressive Monotubes are in her future.
I only listened to the radio for about 15 miles. Still listening to the new motor. I'll get use to having music later.
She does take sweeping curves very nice. Seems to hold the line slightly better than my 02/08 but only slightly. She does transition thru multiple "S" curves with less imput from the rider. Seems to know where to go. A great ride.
