Premium ride Harley shocks
« on: September 05, 2010, 09:36:02 PM »

Has anyone tried Harley's new Premium ride hand-adjustable Low touring shocks part number 54680-10? My dealer today said they have sold 5 pairs to local customers and they just love them. I ride a CVO RG 09 and think it could use help.

I haven't tried them, but how much are they? Are they the stock shock that comes with the 2010's and newer?

If they are around $500, I'd bet you would be better off spending that on a set of Progressive Suspension, Works, Ohlins, etc, as you'd likely get a better product for less money, because you're not paying for the HD name.

Ask the guys on the SESG forum - those are the shocks that come stock on the SE Street Glides.  Seem to be a lot of people that like them.
