I spent 22 years in Special Operations in the military.  (Army for 8yrs and then AF for 14)  Retired, 6 years in college, and now I work for the State of Oregon as a Family Resource Manager...  my my how the mighty have fallen! [smiley=zHole.gif]   [smiley=bigcry.gif]

I have a 2 titiles as I serve a dual role for the same firm I've been with for 21 years , "Remote Offsite Support Engineer-V Specialist, and Technical Problem Manager .  Part of the time I'm a senior Unix engineer specialiizng in performance , and the other part is as when it all blows up , I work for the Escalations team driving the technical resolution and orginizing all parties ie, app vendor , end user, sales , HW and SW .

Retired from USAF after 23 years. Spent many years in tech marketing and sales, now USCG contracting officer and USCG auxiliary boat crew member for SAR support, etc. Tune pianos in NV cathouses on the side  ::)

Currently titled Senior Loan Officer/Manager for a mortgage brokerage writing loan's in Ohio and Florida.

 We do it all construction, purchase, rehab, heloc's, 1st mortgage's, 2nd mortgage's, debt consolidation, cashout, bankruptcy buyouts, foreclosure buyout's etc.etc.etc. [smiley=yes.gif]

 This jobs lends me the opportunity to be a part time magician with some of the deals we can pull off for those with major credit issue's. :o

 Prior to the mortgage industry I spent 20+ years in the contractual Food and Vending industry, did all it from the front line worker in the field to big shot in corporate office headquarter's to franchise owner. The industry has become a non-profitable grind so I moved on.......... [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Basically a Blue Collar guy most of my life
Was a auto mechanic, I love turning wrenches and fixing chit, but the pay wasnt there.
 Was a Interstate (long Haul) driver, Allied Van Lines, Red Ball M&S, General Freight, Loved to drive but the family thing came up,
 Owned a Recreation Vehicle Service business for 12 years
Now A Master Plumber/ Master Gasfitter running my own business serving Cape Cod, and Nantucket Ma. Took me awhile to wake up and do something right, This is working out, I get all my jobs done and fly home to ride, ride, ride [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] 8-)

Interesting thread.  Lots of job titles out there. Me, my handle is my job title. GC Super = Golf Course Superintendent.  Just starting my 32nd year with the same company. Was eligible to retire last Dec, so now I'm just waiting for them to make me really mad,  and then I'll take that long MC trip and not have to worry about when to come home.  I'm sure the wife would say go ahead, take your time, I'll take care of the kids, the house and all the BS so you can have fun.  LOL    [smiley=drink.gif]

I'm another one with "nick" as job. Fired00d = Fireman, or to be politically correct "Firefighter". Been running into burning buildings when everyone else is running out since 1983 (22.5 years), getting close to "KMA" (Kiss My A$$$) time. Along with present employment like most firefighters I work a second job as a Transit Operator (Bus Driver) for the same city, and Ambulance driver for Critical Care Air/Ground Transport. The Critical Care unit has daytime ground and air, and on call night driver when the helicopter can't fly because of weather or maintenance. Before that I worked for Phone Company for almost five years, and before that I was one of

What I did? Fell off a bike so I can't chase bad guys anymore. Now, I am an engineer in Los Angeles radio. Don't ask me to explain that as I really have no idea. All I know is the union says I don't really have to do alot and they pay me enough to buy a CVO.
