led tail lights

anyone buy the led head light

Harley part number 73390-10.  I saw it on display at HD dealer.  I really liked it, I want it.  I live out of the city and drive alot of dark roads at night.  Maybe someone has bought it and can give me some info.

I put the headlight and passing lamps on. Very bright and I like the way they look. I took an aftermarket HID kit off that gave me problems. Go for it.

I have them on my '08 Road King and they are great. Works well in fog too.

I plan on installing the new Black LED headlight on my Kryptonite... the pic looks bad azzzzz!

I put both the headlight and driving lights on my Black & Orange CVO.  They are very bright and I like the looks of them.

That black one is killer!!! Cheapest I found was Chicago HD @ $524  mighty perdy  but ooh so expensive  I guess if you go with the safety thing, IF IT SAVES YOUR A** JUST ONCE................

I thought that the stock HL on the 11FLHXSE2 was an LED HL...Is it not?

 You would think for the bikes cost they would have all the latest greatest stuff, but the headlight is the dual bulb halogen not the LED.   

Speaking of cost just using simple #s if they produce 3500 Kryptos @ $32,000 ea = $112,000,000  those numbers are unreal

Why don't they put the LED on from the factory?

Since we're doin math....... if they sold an LED to half of those 3500 bikes @ $524.00 A pop=$917,000.00 :coolblue:

Unfortunately I will also be contributing to the cause  :-\ because the LED is very nice. My ol man has one on his ride.

Does he have the clear or black one?  Does it stick out any from the housing?  I remember a post somewhere saying it stuck out and needed a new ring to make it look right. Any way you could post a pic?

He has the chrome one. He has the HD visor trim ring on his but I don't think it sticks out any further than than the stock light. Ill have to check out my uncles as he has the light also without the trim ring. I'll take some pics for ya as well.

there where some HID kits that included a thicker ring. i dont think the LED includes such a ring
