Has anyone had any problems with their front tire cupping in the center? I understand on the early 09 the front tire had problems and HD will replace them?

Not in the center, on the outer edges.......

At a little over 16,000 miles...mine is cupped across the entire tread.

Is your front tire the 407 or the 408?

you may be out of luck The MoCo was replaceing them if certain criteria were met, but at 16,000 mi you may be below the tread depth that was required by the Service bulletin they put out M1258-A

Hi,

I took my 09 RGSE with 6,300 miles on it down to local HD and showed them my tire and they looked up tire recalls and it is covered under HD warranty. They put on a new tire in less than an hour at no charge at all. The grooves on the original tire go the wrong direction.

Check your 09 tires and talk to your dealer. I have no idea about mileage limits, or if it applies to all front tires.

Same for me. Seminole Harley replaced my tire because of the tread direction. Mine was not cupping though with less than 3,000 miles at the time.

Just had mine changed at 8k, no fuss at all.
