Thank you all for the warm welcome.  I appreciate it.  Now for the bummer of the story.  No pics until the damage is repaired.  Hadn't even had it barely 10 days when:

My Sweetie and I were eating dinner the other night and this older lady pulled into the parking spot next to my bike.  Didn't think much of it at the time until she went to leave.  She backed up, turned the wheel, put it in drive and proceeded to push my new scooter over with the center of the front bumper on her Honda Accord.  Almost $8k in cosmetic damages so... she ain't much to look at right now.

I didn't strangle her, didn't kick her car or punch out her windshield.  I called a cop and then went around the corner and screamed as loud as I could in frustration.  Twice.  Later my girlfriend told me that when I get angry I get bigger.  She also said when the lady heard me scream she asked if I was OK.  My sweetie told her she wasn't sure and was definitely not going to go check to find out.  I think the rudest thing I said to her was; "Couldn't you see it sitting there?"  She was very apologetic and also heavily insured so... her insurance company is footing the bill for repairs.

Funny thing is when the clueless cop looked at the scrapes on the saddle bags and told me; "It's not so bad, they can buff that out."  Sometimes I wonder.

If the lady knocking my bike over to the tune of $7800.00 wasn't enough, an acquaintance of mine went to start his bike the other night. It happened to be behind mine and also was in gear. It caught, lurched forward and smacked the rear fender of mine pushing it over again.  I stood my bike up, picked his bike up off of him and started to call the police for an accident report. He actually had the nerve to point to the scuff on my rear fender, which later turned out to be a dent, and proclaim; "I have a friend that can buff that out."  Rack up another $1400.00.

All this before I even made the first payment on it.

I had a friend of mine come over and he smudged and blessed my bike and myself.  Looking forward to getting the bike squared away and riding.  At least I don't have to worry about getting that first scratch!!
