Multiple bikes & GDO

I know it has been stated that you can use more than one bike to activate the H-D garage door opener.  Just wondering what the programming procedure is with multiple bikes.  Thinking that programming the new bike to the receiver might deactivate the programming on the other bike.

Just do it like the book says. No reprogramming or other problems. I've got them on two different bikes and nothing special was required to make them work.

It's a FIFO thing Jerry.  If memory serves the spec is up to seven.  When the receiver is "full" the new simply pushes out what was the first one it had learned.

Like other have said nothing special to do.  I have three bikes with this, and I set each one up the same, it remembers the different codes.  It's a real nice thing to have.

I still have the receiver unit from my 06 SEUC installed.  Works great with my 07 but I cannot get this 2011 SERG to sync up with it.  No joy.  Wonder if the receiver unit has changed and the 11s won't mate up with the older receivers.  Guess I'll have to hook up the receiver that came with the 11 and see if it will work with it.  Or maybe I am experiencing the first of the moco's QC issues.   :nixweiss:  Hope not.

I'm still using my 05 receiver with my 10 bike and my wife's 09.   Keep at it, it will work.

Nope.  I think the moco QC gremlin has struck.  I put both the 06 receiver and then the 11 receiver on an extension cord so I could carry them to the bike.  When the receiver receives a signal from the bike the flashing light goes out.  The 07 worked like a charm on both receivers.  Nix on the 11 - neither receiver saw a signal from it.

And I discovered that my Acc switch does not illuminate green when it is turned on.  Swapped out the fuse but no change.

So I'm wondering if perhaps some plug inside the fairing was left unplugged and is causing these two problems.   :nixweiss:

Any one have an electrical manual with schematic for the 11s?
