Yes....I think so. The thing here is that the brake light must be separate from the turn signals. The brake light must be red and the turn signals must be orange. A buddy has one of these lights which comes with the fender on a Yamaha. He has not been pulled over. Saying that though I do not know anyone who has tried to get there bike certified with this set up.

I ditched the amber signals and the red pignose (looked bad) and went smoked gray for all 3 lamps so they'd at least match, then added a run/brake/turn module so while the signals stay separate, all 3 lamps glow in run mode and are bright while braking.

Not sure what the actual rules are but no one has stopped me. The way i look at it, most cars have red tail lamps and signals so....

here is the before and after pic

I agree HDNIK that the smoked grey looks a lot better and the way you set it up is 100 times better. So can I ask....How much for this set up? (parts and labour) and did you do it yourself or did you take it to the dealer? I see that we are about 1 hour away from each other so I am really interested in doing the samething.

I cannot see you getting pulled over with this set up but if you ever removed the pignose light  :nervous:

Guys, here is possibly a cheaper option, that does not look quite as good!  I have kept the orange indicators and just gone with a HD smoked LED and removed the red reflector.  Not quite as cool as HDNIK's, but an option.

Thanks HDNIK for the brake down. The LED tail light and smoked lenses are the way I think i will go too. About the module. Was it easy to wire up? Was it something that you did? Just wondering if it will affect the warranty in any way.  :-\

Its plug and play. Took 10 minutes to install. As for warranty if ever an issue unplug it and no probs.

Sounds easy enough....plug and go is what i like to hear which is a good thing because you are not splicing into any wires.....one more question (diving you nuts yet,  :huepfenjump3:) Where to you mount/hide the module?
