The fairing is painted and the project is going great.

Happy you chose to paint it now that you see it on the bike??

I am happy I went with paint. So far I'm having a blast putting this together and it looks like after selling the RG stuff I will be making a little $$$ when it's all done.  :2vrolijk_21: By the way does anyone know the part # for a 2011 SESG seat?

Just wondering... Did you decide to leave the chrome bits alone or are you painting them?

I wouldn't think that the '11 SG seats are available yet, especially to non-'11 SG owners???  Sometimes the MoCo limits certain products through the 1st year.

Good luck with the completion of your dream ride.

Can't wait to see the finished product... Possibly some before & after photos will be forthcoming?  ;D

You are correct about the seat. I am looking for the seat on the sandard street glide. 2011(my mistake)

One other consideration, my 04 SEEG has a gloss black inner fairing that shows every speck of dust, water spots, etc.  I don't think I would want that much Orange Pearl staring me in the face on my bike, but on a silver bike I would definitely go for the silver inner.

Was there any doubt the color should be silver?  :2vrolijk_21:
