Thanks martys for the pics of your exceptional trip red '00.  Is it too much to ask about the chrome caps on the head bolts left side?  How about those on 12 of the 16 rocker box bolts?  Chrome oil filter mount? Windshield 12" tall?  Grips matching the floorboarsd & brake pedal?  Sissy bar w/ pad an option or part of the package?  I appreciate everyone helping me get up to speed.

Thanks Rimjam  ;D  I have added more chrome to it since that picture but still have all the original parts and can bring it back to bone stock in about 2 hrs. 

The caps on the left side head bolts.....Stock
Rocker bolts .........   I am not sure about but I dont think they came with chrome caps
Chrome Oil Filter mount.........Stock
Windshield................. I have two that came with the bike when I got it but I believe the 14" was the stock shield
Grips, Floorboards & pedal matching......... Stock
Sissy Bar w/pad (only piece I am missing) ..........Stock (quick release to replace chopped tour pac)
Custom Leather cover for owners manual........Stock
Also came with a custom  Screamin Eagle cover......Stock

Thanks again martys.  I'd never heard the owner's manual came with a leather cover.  My bike is close to stock & I'm not a nut about originality but if I spot a piece at a swap meet its like a prospector finding a gold nugget especially when the price is right.  A detatchable sissy bar w/ pad did come with my SERG but I haven't seen a single photo that tells me if its original.  Do ya think someone got Willie G. off & got him real drunk & talked him into putting the fishtail exhaust tips on as stock?

My triple red is bone stock as well. The sissy bar with pad fits the same mounts as the chopped tour pack. I am going with a shorter rubber antenna, centerstand, Headlight bezel, and floorboard extenders. The shark fins are way cool and I still run them. Gear driven cams and a better oil pump for the motor done by the PO. Enjoy!

jayray00SERG  -  your sissy bar mounts in the same location as the tour pac?  Now I'm really confused! I have three (3) detachable lugs on each side of my 00 SERG  -  the sissy bar mounts on the front & middle, the tour pac mounts on the middle & rear ones.  Is it possible to see a picture?  Thanks.
