Hey CVOTequila,  I hope your leg is healing as best as can be expected.  I think I can imagine how sick you felt when seeing your bike after incident.  I hope you get it back in pristine condition. 

What's the status on your mobility and of your recovery?...still in Physical Therapy, still on crutches or can, any limp?

When do plan to be back on the road with your Teguila?

I am supposed to get my bike back soon (hopefully today or tomorrow), will post pics when I get her back!  I am finally off of crutches and walking with a boot.  It is uncomfortable, but I was pretty sick of those crutches!!  I am definetely limping, but the doc says I am healing up just fine.  He expects I will be at 100% by the end of FEB.   :2vrolijk_21:  Thanks again for the well wishes all.

So they did not total it hey?........I hope they checked the frame from a side impact like that.

Hope that leg is better real soon......I smell spring riding coming  :)

Nope it wasn't a total.  Frame was throughly inspected by the mechanic who was working on my bike before the accident, so I trust he did an excellent job.  I think the only reason there was no frame damage was becuase it was a lower speed impact probably around 10MPH.  I think it was me that sustained the most damage!

Sorry to hear, but I was hit on my CVO Fatboy in May of 08. Shattered my leg and I am riding again, if that news helps.   Poeple dont look for us! They are to busy on their phones, talking, changing radio stations you name it, and we pay for it. It has taken me a long time to get over my accident.  Riding is not the same, it never will be.  Its always in the back of my mind.  I worry terribly about my g/f when she is on her bike. God help someone if they ever hit her and hurt her.  I will going away for a long time.   So they better hope they hurt me as well. I am so sick and tired of "oh I didnt see them".  Thats bullchit. My life is changed FOREVER!!!! Everyday I live in massive pain, all cause someone didnt see me! How is that fair?  Like I said before if I do hit ever get hit again, they better kill me cause the next time it will be an eye for an eye.   :soapbox:
