There's a frame straightening shop in LA that does top shelf work. Have seen them take frames far worse looking than this one and bring them back better than OEM specs. Maine Salvage Title huh ? Well it can't be one of the "Crispy Cruisers" that turned up everywhere when Harleys-R-US burned to the ground in Auburn Maine. I mention this because I know of several of those that were rebuilt and the fire while totally destroying the plastic parts, wiring, seat, paint etc did not seem to have damaged the frames. And that entire building was engulfed and a total loss. Soooooooo, salvage bikes are crap shoots. They are not for the faint of heart. You need to either have a stash of used parts to make them a viable rebuild or tons of patience to find the needed used parts as you go along. We have a site member building a Road King from a salavaged wreck. Mayhaps he'll come out into the schoolyard to play and toss his 2 cents into the mix here.
