Vance & Hines Ovals/Dresser Duals with Fuelpak

Any comments about this set-up?

And why/how Rineharts seem to get so many rave reviews?  Are they REALLY that much better or is it just a loyalty deal?

Well I have the V&H Duals and Ovals, but not the fuelpak, opted for the SERT instead.

I have the same set up as FR8TRN with the SERT.  I had my bike parked next to a Watermelon bike with Rineharts on it a few weekends ago.  The Rineharts were louder and of course the mufflers are styled differently at the tips.   Performance wise, the Rinehart's may have a little better horsepower / torque values on the dyno,  but my "seat of the pants dyno" is happy with my setup.  FR8TRN is right on the mark with the sound of the V&H.

Picked em up from the place below, give em a call, they have problems with their online ordering sometimes...

LOL, yeah they are loud, Rivco's, I had em installed at DelMarVa Bike Week but you can get em direct from Rivco.  The compressor goes in the cavity under the front of the seat.

Anyone have the V&H Ovals with the SE air kit, SERT and stock header pipes?  I know there is a lot of controversay regarding stock header pipes with the crossover versus truduals.  If you put looks and the heat issue aside, what is the difference between the stock pipes and truduals in performance?  Or is it a wash?  My dealer and tuner is one that leans towards keeping the stock headers.

I use the HD leather dressing that came with the bike.
