I am planning on doing this soon.  I have ordered the internal bracket as well as the 2 lower fairing mounts.  Can someone please tell me what the parts above are for.  I have looked them up but can not find them.  Do i need them to adjust the fairing or are they for something else.  Also, my local dealer (Paramount HD in Mass) has quoted me 2 1/2 to 3 hours.  Seems a touch high.  Thanks all

I guess they are the lower mounts near the engine guard ( but at the fairing )

Those parts are the screws And the front half of the clamp for the supports that hold the fairing to the engine guard. If you have lowers now you can reuse the screws and clamps from your old lowers.

We can do this mod in about 2 hours.

In order to use the vented lowers on an 09 and lower road glide you need to get the following parts:
58530-10 Fairing mounting bracket
58454-10 LH lower fairing mount
58460-10 RH lower fairing mount
58487-04 Fairing mount cap (2)
2647B Fairing mount screws (4)

We have done these on Roadglides back to 03 without issue.

I'm finally getting at all this with the new '10 and new vented lowers.  I was told that the original front main bracket may just be able to be drilled with the new bolt pattern rather than replacing it with a new one.  New front bracket (58530-10 Fairing mounting bracket)

Have you looked at doing this?

 Can't be done fairing bracket is tilted down 2 degrees and up .88 inches.

Its is possible but you would need to remove the old studs as they would interfere with the new hole locations. The angle would also need to be adjusted somehow as well. Not worth the hasle for a for a $75 (retail) part.

Motor1 and Jim, thanks for the information.

I guess if I had a few of the stock ones and a new, I could modify them in our fab shop here and make it worth while if several were done at once.  But as Jim said, not worth it for just the one and $75.00.
