Annette and I met Lisa at the hospital at 11:30 this morning. Got to visit with Mike for about 30 minutes. He was sitting in a chair and called Annette and I by name and of course said it was good to see us but we didn't have to drive down (like no big deal, just brain surgery....) lol.

Lisa said the doc had him do a little walking this morning as well. Yahoo!

We went back just after 3pm (they do visiting hours in 2 hour spurts so he gets plenty of rest) and he was sleeping well. Still in ICU but they are going to move him to a regular room as soon as one becomes available. Lisa said he very happy to get the straw hose out of his "pennis" this morning (if you know Mike, you'll know why I spelled it that way lol) and even mentioned to me he was happy to be peeing in a bowl now.

Either Lisa or I will keep you posted as updates arise.

She said thanks so much for all of your prayers, thoughts and well wishes!!!

Just back from seeing Miker again. He's in a regular room and out of ICU!!!

He seems to be doing really well. If they don't let him go home tomorrow they will have their hands full I would imagine.  :P

Yahoosie!, Lisa wanted you all to know Miker is due to be released today!! It will probably be a couple more hours, but Doc just gave the okay about 30 minutes ago!!
