Looks good Steve...

so, would you recommend the 555's over the 54's?...

I figure I can go either way.... thoughts?
They are both good cams well suited for a heavy Touring bike.
The Wood 555 has more top end. The Andrews are more economically priced.
Me personally? Already have 2 more sets of 555s on the way!

Will you have a map for the TTS Master Tune to go with the 555s like you do for the 54's?

What about for a 2010-11 Ultra Ltd 103" with your A-pipe?

How close would that be to the 09 with a no-cat headpipe (for now..)

Close enough to run OK. A couple VTune sessions would dial in in pretty close if needed.

Would that be good in an 09 with the X Pipe and your 2.25 baffels?

The 2010-11 map will not load in a 2009. To really optimize the wood 555 over the Andrews 54 you would need to start with the
54 map and run a few V Tune sessions, or take it to a competent dyno tuner and get it tuned.
There is a gain to be had with the wood cam, but tuning is one of the key ingredients. Especially when looking at top end numbers.

Thanks for the tips Steve...

Also thank you for the call last Friday. At this rate I might see my bike home before Christmas...

Here's the dyno test we all wanted to see. Woods 555-X Pipe-CVO 110 combo.

The Bike:
The Holy Grail. 2011 CVO Ultra. Burgundy and red with black flames. Very, very nice.

The parts list
Exhaust: Fullsac "B" X Pipe. 2.0 Fullsac Power cores.
Cams: Woods 555 installed with stock pushrods and Cometic .030 head gaskets.
AC: SE Ventilator. Now stock on 2011 CVO Ultra.
OEM computer was accessed and recalibrated with TTS Mastertune.
Thats it. Everything else is bone stock!

Dyno pulls:
Done 1 day apart. Same bike, same tank of gas, 5th gear.
Run 6: 82HP-97 TQ. Stock off the showroom floor.
Run 31: 107 HP- 112 TQ. 25 HP gain with parts listed installed and dyno tuned.

Bottom line:
The new Woods 555-X Pipe combo produced a very smooth and broad TQ curve. I've dynoed several 54s in 110s.
The 555s have virtually identical bottom end as the Andrews 54, crossing 100 TQ at 2500, but with a much longer
top end pull. If you like chasing numbers and don't mind spending a few bucks more for cams, these 555s are the hot ticket.
Just for fun, I pulled the stock AC. Made 109 HP and 115 TQ! Almost the magic 1 HP per cube.

Special thanks to Las Vegas local Gus Reifenrath for riding with a Fullsac!  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks for the info Steve!

Would you get a similar performance with the 1.75 baffles?

You could expect to loose 2-3 HP peak with the smaller 1.75 cores.

Got a chance to put some miles on my 2011 on the Daytona trip and overall I'm satisfied with the Stage I & II kits.  Same parts list as Steve posted.

My numbers are lower than Steve's (100.88 hp, 107.08 torque), but the sheets are from different dynos and while talking to the tech at Augusta HD he told me that they've had the dyno about four years and it's never been re calibrated.

Seat of the pants the bike feels great!  Pulls strong from just below 3k up to the rev limiter.

One issue I do have is gas milage.  Running the interstate at 80-85 I got 30-33 mpg.  When we got on A1A above Jacksonville running 45-60 mileage went up to 44 mpg.

So, am I going to put the stock cams back in to bring the mileage up?  He** no!
