Just put a set of metzler 880 on my '95 fatboy on spoked wheels, this is setup with stock sie 16's both front and rear, bike is setup as a solo rider, when trying to figure out proper inflation on these tube type tires, the pressure on metzlers inflation chart is clear as mud, anyone have experience with this.

on my Road king classis with 130/90/HB16 the factory spoke rims, tube and rim strips, i run pressure per the ME880 chart and i run the 2up heavy rates, 40 in the front and 48 in the rear.  i ride solo about half the time. but i pefer the 2up heavy pressure. not sure if this helps, but it took me awhile to make sence of the chart also.

I started out running what the chart recommends but had a slight vibration so i dropped the air pressure about 2 to 3 pounds less, the vibration went away and i think it rides and handles better.  i ride a 07 SERK, 2 up 98% of the time and have added faring, hard bags and king tour pak and mags not spoke rims.

The Metzler chart isn't laid out as well as one would like.  I've taken the liberty to do a little "cut and paste" from their web site and then apply some lines to separate the various categories.  If you used the exact stock sizes, which are alpha, then you will note that they have the same recommendations as the stock tires (36/40).  Only the numeric designations call for significantly higher air pressures, and then only in certain sizes on the rear.

Do not exceed the maximum pressure indicated on the tire sidewall.
