Trailering RGSE to Mesa, Az January to Ride
« on: December 18, 2010, 09:28:32 PM »

Hi All,

I am trailering my 09 RGSE to Mesa, Az and will be there all of January, and would like to know of any rides or coffee hangouts I could join in with. My wife and I rode the area last year and had a great time, so going to do it again this year. Let me know of any fun things to do.

Thank You,

Mark

Sorry I don't have any tips about Mesa, but it appears from your pic it was kind a slow day at "The Dragon" which I would call almost in my back yard. Sounds like a fun trip.

When do you arrive?  1st Friday night every month is bike nite in downtown Mesa.

If you go to Chesters HD & their events calendar it usually shows Mesa Bike nite as they sponsor it.  http://www.chestershd.com/event_calendar.asp

They don't show the Jan event calendar yet.

Let me know when you coming, where you will be & we will get together for a ride.  We ride all the time!

There is the Hideway in Cave Creek
Greasewood Flats in Scottsdale
Tortilla Flats near Apache Junction
And the list goes on.............
This is the year round riding place!

PM me & I will give you my contact info.

Got to the website  cyclerides.com  and check out day rides and the monthly calendar of rides and events.  That should keep you pretty busy.   I would favor the central and southern Arizona rides that time of year.  Enjoy.

Congratulations on being able get away for the whole month of January. The midwest isn't the place to be for riding this time of year. Have fun and enjoy every day.

I don't normally do this, but since I like you... I'll offer up my services to ride your bike out there for you. Trailers are dangerous.  :)

I didn't think you rode much any more.  I heard you sold that Black Bike that you hated & got a Honda.  :nixweiss:
