Just a little FYI:
Had a member here with heated grips quit working, 2010 model. Blown fuse. Cause?? Probable cause was a GPS plugged into the fairing 12V port, had a little corrosion inside.
I'm thinking the GPS plug shorted out the socket, blew the fuse that also works the heated grips.
It may be wise to check this 12V socket to check for corrosion. Washing or rain water may be trapped inside if you leave it plugged in all the time.
