Yes, congratulations on the new ride and I wish you the best of luck with the new bike.
As to the mention of the oil migrating to the primary it did happen to my bike at 2267 miles though ”Not A CVO”.
The primary does hold most of the tanks capacity, if not more .
I had the local, (closest dealer) not the dealer the bike was purchased from (22 miles away) check for a thumping vibration felt in the hand grips.
They had the bike for two days, the resulting diagnoses was it was normal just like all the rest of the bikes they compared it to. I know they must have had all the mechanics ride it with the added miles.
The day after I picked the bike getting off the Parkway, about a mile or so from my house I noticed a new vibration and I could here the lifters getting noisy, oil light was not on.
I coasted the last ¼ mile down the hill to my house and checked the oil. None on the dipstick, I looked in the tank with a flashlight, empty.
No smoke no oil spots or oil leak visible. Put the bike in the Condor upright and loosened the derby cover and found the oil.
Called the dealer the bike was purchased from explained this; they picked it up and repaired it N/C.
Problem caused from the lack of crush at the compensator to the crank.
