I got the 7 year on the last three bikes and the tire and wheel coverage, but it was more like $1,100.....it is negotiable. :2vrolijk_21:

Not negotiable in Florida :(

You can buy the extended warranty from any dealership Harry.  I bought mine at a dealership other than where I bought the bike.

JCZ guess I should have been more thorough in my response the Extended is not negotiable item here in Florida, so to save money on the warranty you have to go out to other states.  In my case a quick call to Jenny and it was done.

I, and many others, bought the extended from Jenni at Tri-County, in Ohio.

The answer is because they built it to be less than it can be and you want it to run proprely. Damn the warranty full speed ahead you may even prevent having a problem as it will now run cooler and properly? In the unlikley event of a warranty issue they have to prove it was the mod that caused the failure under the Magnussn Moss act.

I've got a 2010 SESG with 8,000 miles. I'm doing the Full Monty on the engine this winter. I identify with all of the above. Cause you can. Cause you love torque and hp. Cause, in my case, I've not done it before. Who knows?  We take the most expensive bikes HD makes and spend $$ we won't get back just to suit our tastes. Go figure.

Can't wait for 2011 road trips. On the road. Long way out and a ways to go.  Bike rumbling along. Part HD design. Part mine.  Perfect.

Bingo! And I got the dealer to make to mods in house and still carry the warranty. Got the best of both worlds..........

Extended Warranty?  No thanks.  I'd rather spend that money on Mod's.  If my Machine fails, I'll pay for it.  Haul it in to the Shop and tell them to fix it.  Not gonna' sit around and wait for some warranty administrator to determine what caused the failure, and what they are, or are not, going to pay for, when they happen to get around to it.  If..........they have the parts.  But, that's just me.  Truth be told, 98% of the failures I've had, have been of my own making.  But for all you guys that have the New 110's, you probably need that ESC, from what I hear.  ;) Later--HUBBARD

:nixweiss: Ok...done deal!  I spoke with Zippers, and I think i am going to go with the 575 Redshift Cams.....and as much as I like my Rinehart system, I have heard some good things about the new D&D Fat Cats with this combination and the Thundermax TBW tuner.  It's only money that I will leave behind someday, so why not be  ;D now!

You heard that D&D Fat Cat?  Little loud, IMHO.  Add to that, a ghost pipe in the place of True Duals?  :nixweiss: Nah.  JMO.  Later--HUBBARD

I'll admit the 2 year factory warranty works fine for most of who ride daily and everywhere.... depending on how long you keep your scoot would determine if you choose the ESP or not.

Being out here, ther reps do most inquiries by picture/email, and validate claims 2x per year.

For me, I tell the dealeship to FIX it right, and let me DEAL with the ESP reps. The reps have never given me any flack for fixing the bike. Everything is always covered.
