If cost isn't a factor and weight is the only concern, Featherlight!

From there I'd be curious how much difference there is in weight with a single bike trailer from brand to brand.

A bud pulls a 6x10 with some sort of mini van without an issue (looks funny!)

Wallenpaupack? Your just up the road from me, Stroudsburg here.

Any aluminum trailer maker will have one. Aluma, Triton, Rance to name a few.
I personally think you will be pushing the limits with an enclosed trailer. It's not just
weight, but wind resistance. I had an Aluma MC10, open bike trailer and it weighed
355 lbs empty. With my bike at 900 lbs, it didn't leave much as a cushion for the
1500 lb towing cap. on our CR-V. I know wind resistance wasn't a problem with the
open trailer either. I only lost 2/3 mpg, still getting in the low 20's. With an enclosed
make sure you only look at v-nose models.

Mike Scott has one of these (or something almost identical).  They're the lightest I've seen.  About 750 pounds yet still plenty rigid and makes for an effective rig.

I had the single bike version of one of these for a long time.  Just under 900 pounds after chocks and straps and other gear was in it.  Pulled it with a little V6 Silverado that just barely has enough power to get out of its own way.  Trailer worked very well and held up well.

An Aluma AE510M (5' x 10') v-nose weighs 985 lbs, and the AE610M ( 6' x 10') v-nose
weighs in at 1120 lbs. I think these are some of the lightest aluminum trailers,
so you would be really pushing the tow limits of your CR-V.
Maybe an open like the MC10 I had would fit your needs?  http://www.alumaklm.com/

Like Don said I like my little trailer http://toycarrier.com/cruiserbiketrailer.htm  and it pulls like there is nothing there it weighs 780 lbs. and the people at the factory is one of the nicest bunch of people you will ever want to deal with.  He is suppose to be working on a 1 foot wider and 2 foot longer version which would be perfect for an ultra with the wild one 575 bars like I have own mine.  But mine fits with no problems you just need to be a little careful when loading it and shutting the lid.  This trailer will be I'm guessing 1,500.00 cheaper than the IronHorse.

What I think I would like more about the IronHorse would be the ramp door and the width and length of the trailer.  The pull out ramp of the ToyCarrier don't get me wrong it works well when you figure it out but a little narrow when loading.  The plastic over Fiberglass if you bump into something well you know what will happen to fiberglass.  :o  The plastic is very forgiving.  I don't trailer a lot is the reason I choose the ToyCarrier.  I did not want to spend the extra $$$ for the IronHorse and the ToyCarrier works very well for my uses.  If you ask me what I would buy now,,, well I think I would buy a TWO BIKE TRAILER.  I don't know how strong your Honda CR-V is but with my ENVOY I loose about 2 mpg pulling this trailer and I do NOT know its behind me.

If you have any questions you can pm me your # and I'll call you back and try to answer you questions...
