2011 A/C UPGRADE
« on: January 10, 2011, 12:04:31 AM »

On the 2011 UCSE6 is the air filter able to let enough air in, or do i need to upgrade it?? :)
I like the looks of the tins, but I'm not finding a KN filter that will fit the stock housing
thanks ;)
I'm also putting Fullsec pipes and 2" baffles on

The air cleaner does not need to be upgraded...as for a K&N element...everybody with this A/C is waiting for that!

I posted a dyno chart recently from a 2011 CVO Ultra Stage II kit I did with Woods 555 cams.
In back to back dyno runs it made 107HP 113TQ with the stock AC.
Pulled the lid and it went 109HP and 115TQ. Only a 2HP loss, not too bad for a stock AC.
The SE Heavy Breather is the only one I have tested that will show no loss in HP
and actually bumps the TQ a couple of points due to the increased intake length.

It would be interesting to see the difference between the heavy breather and the ventilator.

Yeah what he said. Anyone have any numbers on the comparison between the two air cleaners?
